Dr Sam Jenner

(MBCHb, DCH, MRCGP (Distn), MSc SEM, MLCOM, FD Acupuncture)

Experience & background

With 30 years of experience as a doctor within the NHS, I have been deeply immersed in its culture, navigating its many changes and reforms. Throughout my career, I successfully established and developed a new service, gaining the expertise and confidence to turn ideas into reality. However, the NHS’s slow pace and focus on disease management made it challenging to implement my vision of aging as a positive, individualised experience.

The vision behind Senescence Health

Senescence Health was born from my passion for promoting healthy maturity through a holistic approach—one that integrates physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The goal is to redefine aging, empowering individuals to optimise their health and longevity rather than simply managing disease.

Approach & expertise

Beyond my work as a GP, I have pursued further qualifications to deepen my understanding of integrative health and longevity. My expertise includes:

  • Master’s in Sports & Exercise Medicine – enhancing mobility, strength, and vitality.

  • Training in Medical Osteopathy – supporting physical function and pain management.

  • Psychotherapy Training – strengthening the mind-body connection for overall well-being.

These experiences have reinforced my belief in the power of proactive, personalised healthcare to support scientific aging to live well longer.

Commitment to excellence

As a practicing doctor, I prioritise professional accountability and safety, ensuring that all aspects of care align with established medical standards. I am committed to continuous professional development, including advanced training in longevity medicine and cutting-edge diagnostic testing, offering you safe, regulated, and effective care.

Aging should not be about decline—it should be about thriving. With Senescence Health, I am here to help you achieve just that.
