A Photography Day Retreat
with Dr Sam Jenner and Prof. Lei Cox.

Join us for a restorative day retreat exploring the powerful connection between creativity, health, and mental wellbeing through the art of photography.
During the retreat, we will develop a shared understanding of what it means to be healthy and explore the role that creativity plays in supporting a healthy mind. Together we will look at the growing scientific evidence showing how creative activity can improve mental clarity, emotional wellbeing, and cognitive health.
You will discover how engaging with creativity can help quiet the mind, enhance attention, and create space for new ideas and perspectives.
We will then bring the science into practice through a deep, immersive photography session, designed to help you slow down, become present, and reconnect with your creative awareness. This practical experience will guide you to explore your surroundings with curiosity and intention, helping you access a calmer mental space where creativity can naturally emerge.
By the end of the retreat, many participants find that their mind feels clearer, less cluttered, and more open to creativity in everyday life.
This retreat offers a unique opportunity to explore health, creativity, and mindful photography in a supportive and inspiring environment. Whether you are new to photography or already enjoy creative practice, the day is designed to help you reconnect with your attention, your environment, and your creative potential.
